The only step you start is the first one: contact us.
We run the application with the university from there. You send documents, attend the interview and keep your phone on. We tell you plainly at each step what is happening and what the authorities decide.
The application process, step by step
Details differ by university, and each university page lists its own requirements. The sequence below follows the admission guide that Georgian National University SEU publishes, and is representative of how most Georgian universities work. For every step we say who does what.
1. Contact us
Message or call us on WhatsApp or through the contact page. The first conversation is free. Tell us your school marks, the course you want, your budget and your country.
2. We assess your profile and shortlist universities
We check your marks against each programme's entry requirements. Medicine and dentistry usually require Biology, Chemistry and English at school. Business and IT programmes look for Mathematics and English. Indian applicants to medicine and dentistry need NEET. For each programme we also check its accreditation with the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) at eqe.ge and, if the degree is a licensed profession, the rules of the regulator in your own country.
3. You send your documents
You send us your passport copy, school certificate and mark sheets, passport photographs and any English certificate. We check them for gaps before anything is submitted, because a missing or inconsistent document is the most common cause of delay. See the document list below.
4. We submit the application
We complete the university's application form and submit it with your documents. Foreign applicants who completed school abroad do not sit Georgia's Unified National Exams.
5. Interview or English test
The university schedules an interview, usually online. If you have no English certificate, you take the university's own English test. Some universities, such as Tbilisi State Medical University, exempt applicants with an English-medium school certificate or IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 90. We tell you what to expect beforehand.
6. Acceptance letter
After a successful interview the university asks for translated and notarised documents and then issues an acceptance letter.
7. Translation and notarisation
Your passport and school certificate are translated into Georgian and the translation is notarised. SEU asks for two hard copies, one of which is kept by the university. We arrange this with you.
8. NCEQE recognition of your education
The acceptance letter and the translated documents go to NCEQE (eqe.ge), which issues an educational recognition document. The university needs this to proceed.
9. Ministry order
Once the university submits the recognition document, the Ministry issues an order about your admission. SEU states this usually takes four to five weeks.
10. Tuition, D3 visa and arrival
The university tells you the amount and the account in its own name. After payment you receive enrolment documents, and we prepare and review your D3 student visa file. See our Georgia student visa guide. After you arrive, the university enrols you and activates your student portal, and you apply for a study residence permit with the Public Service Development Agency.
Documents we need from you
- Passport, ideally valid for at least six months beyond your planned stay.
- School certificate and mark sheets (higher secondary, intermediate, senior secondary or A-levels).
- Passport photographs.
- English proof, or confirmation that you will take the university's test.
- Proof of the required school subjects, such as Biology and Chemistry for medicine.
- NEET certificate, for Indian citizens applying to medicine or dentistry.
We prepare the university application form, the Georgian translations of your passport and school certificate, and the notarisation. The acceptance letter and, later, the NCEQE recognition document follow. Some countries need school certificates to be attested or apostilled before translation. We tell you what applies to your country.
How long does it take?
There is no fixed timeline. The ministry order alone can take four to five weeks after your education is recognised, and the D3 visa decision can take up to 30 calendar days. As a rule of thumb, contact us at least three months before the semester, and allow more if your documents need attestation or you are applying for medicine from a country where additional approvals apply.
Application windows differ. Tbilisi State Medical University accepted applications for 2026-27 until September 2026 or until places were filled, and most programmes start in the autumn semester.
Extra steps from your home country
Some governments add steps of their own before you can study abroad. Students of medicine and dentistry are the most affected: depending on your country you may need an entrance test such as NEET, an eligibility letter, a No Objection Certificate, or confirmation that the foreign college is accredited by your medical council. These rules change, so we confirm them with the issuing bodies before you pay. Our MBBS in Georgia guide covers medicine in detail.
To start, contact us and we will check your file against a specific university's requirements.
